Financial Controller


We are working with a exciting Lloyd's insurer who as part of their continued growth have created a new role within the Group function for a Financial Controller.

This is a key role within their growing finance function.

This high profile and varied role will take ownership for:

  • Capital management from review requirements for group and Lloyd's capital rules through to enhancing the group forecasting model
  • Working closely with the investments and treasury team on managing cashflow needs
  • Financial Reporting responsibility for the group interim and year end statutory reporting including consolidation
  • Oversight and presentation of Group Audit Committee papers
  • Production and development of Group MI including forecasting, budgeting etc
  • Maintain and develop group accounting policy
  • Responsible for production of group tax reporting
  • Motivation, leadership and mentorship of the team


You will be a qualified accountant with strong experience within the London Insurance/Reinsurance markets ideally Lloyd's with experience of running finance teams, developing finance functions and be used to working with key stakeholders across an insurancebusiness.
