What we are looking for:
We are searching for our next Senior Associat, Fund Analyst in our Invesco Real Estate (IRE) team based in our London office

In this role you will be working across all functions within the business.

You will provide the fund management team with analysis throughout the investment lifecycle; transactions, asset management, structured finance, fund strategy and investor reporting.


Your primary function will be creating and handling investment models, ensuring they reflect business plans to provide ongoing returns forecasts, ad hoc analysis, and underwrite new acquisitions & sales.

You will be part of the Fund Management team and will use your sector experience and modelling ability to help drive the strategic direction of our fund and individual investments.


You will excel in this role if you are able to optimally communicate simple conclusions from complex data, with a view to adding context by providing your own investment opinion on drivers of performance.


Among your responsibilities could be also:

  • Ownership of relevant fund model to provide fund level performance forecasts & portfolio analysis
  • Develop a full understanding of the relevant fund, its strategy, investment process and internal and external reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with local Invesco transaction teams to carry out financial analysis of new investment opportunities, and assist with acquisitions and disposals from the funds perspective
  • Run the reviews for each of the funds assets annual business plans, assisted by Invesco's local asset managers across Europe. Drive performance forecasting and analysis such as hold/sell decision support
  • Work with the Structured Finance and Fund Accounting teams to ensure fund modelling fully reflects tax, equity/debt financing structures and other corporate and fund investment structures
  • Preparation of investment memos, fund strategy papers, and other transaction documents

You'll need to have:

  • Degree or equivalent experience ideally, in Finance, Real Estate, Math or Engineering
  • Pan-European real estate valuation / investment experience required
  • Highly skilled in underwriting and supporting transactions in Europe
  • Ability to run several parallel projects and unanticipated timelines
  • German language skills a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to explain and articulate investment performance and strategy, by using appropriate arguments.
  • Effective team worker including remotely across international offices
  • Stong numeric skills
  • Excellent software skills and high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel including cashflow modelling experience. Knowledge of Argus Enterprise useful
