Main Purpose of the Role
The main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and deliver on time and effectively the training requirements for agency workers within the Health and Social Care sector, including Nurses, Carers, Support Workers, Domestic Assistants.
This is a volume training role that requires attention to detail and ability to co-ordinate a number of training sessions in a variety of venues on a daily and weekly basis along with managing e-learning courses delivered both internally and externally.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Course Planning plan in advance all course dates in a variety of regions and ensuring course frequency meets the needs of the business
- Uploading course details to online course management system, reviewing and amending course content.
- Processing course bookings in a timely manner
- Promoting course availability to internal and external customers
- Ensuring trainers and assessors are delivering to the required capacity, maintaining good relationships with external training providers, managing contractual relationships, liaising with trainers re delivery dates and requirements
- Sourcing and booking training venues suitable with equipment for health and social care training
- Creating, implementing and maintaining training matrix, continually reviewing matrix and liaising with business on any potential changes to the training matrix
- Preparing course paperwork
- Completing required training quality assurance and compliance processes
- Running training reports, checking for renewals, checking compliance, sending out reminder invites, ensuring attendance at face to face training and completion of elearning courses
- Producing and issuing monthly training compliance reports for each regional manager, meeting with regional teams to discuss and address any training needs and concerns.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date data within Learning Management System, that courses are correctly assigned and learners data is accurate.
- Reviewing exemptions certificates daily and accepting or rejecting exemptions certificates
- Being onsite when face to face training is delivered to ensure the smooth running of the training
- Delivering face to face training sessions, including Basic Life Support and Moving and Handling as required
- Completing all training administration tasks as required by the business
- Providing monthly reports to the Group Head of People and attending meetings as required.

- Any other adhoc tasks as required
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Experience of training coordination
- Experience of Learning Management Software Systems
- Experience of delivering both elearning and face to face training courses
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Accurate with excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised with ability to prioritise effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Experience of delivering training within or for Health and Social Care sector
- Understanding of or ability to understand regulatory environments
- Certified to deliver Basic Life Support and Moving and Handling Training (Care Setting)

Hours and Location of Work:37.5 hours per week,Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm or 9.00am to 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch break.
Hybrid Working:
Primarily office based with occasional home working available.

£30,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
