Lightweight Vehicle Fitters


Loughborough based engineering company, who specialise in light weight commercial vehicles, are looking for a number of Lightweight Vehicle Fitters to join them.

The position is to hand build and construct lightweight commercial vehicle bodies, using various hand tools.


Skills Required:

  • Experience of multiple construction techniques and hand building of manufactured parts.
  • Experience of working from assembly instruction. Experience of using various power and air tools.
Experience of working to high quality standards.

Able to accurately measure and cut to size.
The ability to work with different materials, from aluminium, steel wood, GRP to plastics.
Experience within the commercial body building sector, would be an advantage but not essential.

  • The ability to work quickly and methodically
  • Physically fit and able to lift weights
The position is working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm

Wages £11.00 per hour

This position is initially temporary but will go permeant after completion of 12 weeks.
