Content Editor
£22,000 per annum
Weston-Super-Mare (Onsite - must have own transport due to location)
Likewize Support provide knowledge solutions and technical support for a range of world class brands, from banks & cell phone networks to retailers.
We are part of Likewize. Likewize is a leading tech Protection and support company dedicated to resolving over 250 million tech problems each year. We are committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients/customers.
The Content Editor writes articles, specs, step-by-step troubleshooter scripts and other support content that enable non-technical people to resolve technical problems and find the answers to general device queries.
The role requires the editor to have an excellent command of English and the ability to answer complex questions in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
The tools will be used on both agent and customer facing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new content in response to:
- New product releases
- Voice of customer insight
- Client requests and feedback
- Operating system updates/releases
- Market trends
- Ensure that customer's questions return the right answers within the search tool
- Review existing articles, specs and troubleshooter script content on a regular basis
- Review and update content in response to insight & feedback
- Respecting the value of information by following Likewize's data protection / information security policies and procedures
- Play a key role in implementing our content strategy by providing the right content delivered appropriately (format).
- Utilise and appraise available insight
- Adhere to best practice standards in content creation and delivery.
- Good grasp of spelling and grammar
- Clear writing style with good attention to detail
- Ability to explain complex processes clearly and without ambiguity
- Image and text editing familiarity (e.g. Photoshop, Fireworks, etc)
- Basic HTML
- Confident proactive approach able to propose & crucially follow through
- Technically capable, curious independent thinker
- Interest in technology
- Adept in problem solving & resolution
- Team player with a 'cando' attitude
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Diligence, attention to detail and the mindset of taking pride in your work
- Must be selfmotivated
