This firm of experienced accountants is looking for a detail-orientated and highly organised professional, with good time management and strong IT skills who can oversee the WIP for a significant client portfolio for both audit and accounts with audit beingthe principal focus.

This opportunity will suit someone who is confident in a client facing role, so excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - will be essential.

You'll be able to build trusted and long-lasting relationships with clients, whilst always strivingto deliver excellence.

You'll also be a great motivator of people and possess the ability to nurture and inspire junior team members.

Job Purpose

Planning and completion of audits, including the allocation of staff in the office and the field.
Preparation and review of statutory accounts
Work closely with clients to build trusted relationships, being the goto for support.
Deliver a strong commercial awareness, reviewing opportunities for fee development.
Confidently present work to managers, completing files to a high standard.
Underpin audit and accounts matters with current legislation and compliance.
Delegate work to, and mentor new trainees, supporting with their learning and development
Set an example for the team as a natural leader

The Successful Applicant

ACA or ACCA?qualified or a finalist with demonstrable accountancy practice experience
Strong knowledge of audit and general accounting
Excellent work ethic
Selfmotivated and reliable who is eager to progress
Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
Good awareness of current affairs
A cando attitude and a proactive problem solver
A full, clean driving license
