GCS GroundCare Ltd are looking for new Ground Maintenance Operatives to join our rapidly growing team due to the increase in workload.

We are currently contractors for many schools, sports grounds and private estates.

The position is full time and permanent.

Hours of work are between 07:30 and 17:00, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity of overtime in the busier months.

Salary - between £12.66 & £15.00 per hour.

- be reliable, hard working and punctual with a positive attitude
- be an experienced driver with a full clean driving licence
- be flexible on a day to day basis
- be confident and professional when liaising with both clients and colleagues

General duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain lawns (mowing, strumming, edging, spraying etc.)
• Maintain beds (weeding, planting, hedge trimming etc.)
• Line marking sports pitches
• Competent in the operation of large ride on lawn mowers and tractors

Experience and qualification:

• Ground Maintenance, preferably 2 years
• Spraying certificates such as PA1, PA2 and PA
• Level 2 or above Certificate in Practical Horticultural Skills AND/OR Sports Amenity Turf Maintenance

Rate of pay will depend on experience and qualifications held.

Expected start will be March.
