Description
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
- Use hand and power tools to assemble and install structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine dimensions and materials needed
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in masonry, painting, and using power tools
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and their uses
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems is a plus
