Site Supervisor

Salary:
£36,000 per annum, plus Veolia benefits and pension


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week. 7AM - 5PM


Location:
Veolia Greenwich IWF, Nathan Way, Plumstead Marsh, Thamesmead, London, SE28 0AN

What you'll be doing;

  • Supervision of the HWRC and 25 employees on the RDF, HWRC and Transfer Station
  • Lead and train by example whilst on site
  • Act as deputy for the Operations Manager during annual leave or other absences
  • Build relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ensure staff are fully trained and identify areas of training needed
  • Maximise and utilise the fixed and mobile plant on site
  • Ensure the materials at the HWRC and the Transfer Stations are recycled and recovered as much as possible
  • Ensure any defects or damages are reported

  • Health and Safety Knowledge and Experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Environmental Knowledge and Experience
