The Company:

A market leader in the chemical engineering sector, this company manufacture bespoke chemical products for an impressive portfolio of global customers.

Part of a multi-site manufacturing operation, this site is going through a significant investment programmeincluding factory extension, new site services, machine relocations, and improved staff facilities.

The Role:

The electrical maintenance engineer will be working a days shift rota Monday to Friday and be responsible for the following:

Planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of complex equipment and machinery
Electrically this includes single and 3 phase systems, AC/DC drives, invertors, relays, PLC's
Mechanically you will support the mechanical maintenance engineers, working on motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts.

Required Experience:

The ideal electrical maintenance engineer will be electrically qualified with experience of maintaining industrial machinery.
Any experience maintaining machine tools and associated control systems is an advantage but training on this can be provided.
The ability to fault find on complex electrical systems is a must
Apprentice trained
Appropriatley qualified eg NVQ, HND/HNC
