HGV Mechanic, Farmfoods Cumbernauld Depot, Greens Road, Blairlinn

Pay & Working hours -

  • This is a full time permanent contract guaranteeing you 40 hours working any 5 days from 7 working one weekend In 4.
    We offer an hourly pay rate of £19.35.

Shift Patterns -

  • Mon-Thurs 2.00pm pm
  • Friday am 8.00pm
  • Saturday & Sunday 8.00am 4.30pm

Duties -

  • Maintaining our fleet consisting of Mercedes, Renault and Scania HGV tractor units along with a variety of multitemperature trailers, curtain sliders and box trailers.
  • Carrying out inspections, repairs and testing.
  • Diagnosing faults.
  • Work in a professional and safe manner at all times.
You will need the following qualifications and experience to be considered:

  • Level 3 City & Guilds Maintenance of Heavy Goods Vehicles (or equivalent)
  • Diagnostic equipment and fault tracing resulting in first time repair
  • MOT preparation
  • LOLER experience and tail lift repair (desirable)
  • Multi temperature trailers and fridge repairs (desirable)
  • CE licence (desirable but not essential)
