Occupational Therapist


We are looking for an exceptional, dynamic & innovative Occupational Therapist to contribute to an effective occupational therapy service to meet the needs of our Client.


Job Purpose:


Working as part of the of the Independent Living Service, ensuring the effective delivery of services to enhance people's wellbeing.

Providing practical advice, guidance and solutions to enable people to live full, satisfying and independent lives.


The Occupational Therapist key duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Working in line with the thresholds agreed in North Lincolnshire to support people to receive the right help at the right time, tailored to their needs at that particular point.
  • Promoting the Independent Living Service, including supporting staff development and training.
  • Provide a strong professional lead role, and at times provide direct coaching and mentoring, to team managers, back care advisor and others, in order to support the achievement of strategic, operational and personal development objectives.
  • Monitor and develop competencies of lowlevel prescribers
  • Work within the Disabled Facilities Grant process with external partners
  • Provide professional advice and support relating to moving and handling issues.
  • Develop and deliver audience appropriate training.

To work as an Occupational Therapist in this unique role you will need:

  • Valid HCPC Pin
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Experience of managing change and motivating and developing staff
  • Ability to coach/mentor staff

This role is Temporary 22.50 hours per week Monday - Friday with the flexibility to manage you own time.
