K-People Europe is a recruitment consultancy specialized in Korean speaking jobs with a dedicated Korean recruitment consultant working in London since 2007.


Our client, a global blue chip company, is looking for
Korean speaking Procurement Team Leader who will be responsible for team management for procurement processes.

**[Key Responsibilities]
(**1) To provide an efficient service through handling of all aspects of the procurement process.

(2) To liaise with requestors (Sales and All Department in the company) to understand requirements and purpose of purchase.

(3) To source, request, negotiate and compare prices, terms and conditions on material, service and maintenance from local and overseas vendors

(4) To liaise with System Request PIC from All Department to process cost in system, ensure timely and accurate manner in Purchase Order issuance and acceptance from vendors.

(5) To Process vendor contract with Legal Team and Vendors for new and renewal projects.

(6) Timely feedback on vendor commitment issues; work with requestor and vendor for quick resolution and minimize impact to customer, escalation to Management when needed.

(7) To track invoicing and check payments ensuring that no backlogs are created. To reconcile contracts, invoices etc. before passing to the finance department.

(8) To liaise with HQ Procurement on quotation comparison (Specification & price) for demand forecast related projects. To ensure price used is the most competitive.

(9) To develop key commodity knowledge, assisting in the collection of purchasing and supply market data and for the recording and updating reports, files and publications.

(10) Constant check to ensure all request and process complies with Procurement SOP. Report noncompliance cases to Management.

(11) New Vendor Setup (Justify use of vendor, system registration & training on vendor portal)

Vendor evaluation (Periodic vendor evaluation:
Financial status, quality check and etc.)

(13) Resolve system issues with ERP Operation team and System Request PIC relating to the corporate procurement system

(14) Ad-hoc duties from management and menagerie work such as educating team members, setting-up and fulfilling the MBO & KPIs


[Requirements]
(1) Must be fluent in both Korean & English

(2) Must have minimum 5 years' experience in a purchasing / sourcing / supply chain role, preferably in IT Industry

(3) Team building and leading experience.

(4) Experience of sourcing in both local and overseas vendor management.

(5) Familiar with ERP SAP, SRM (Supplier Relationship Mgmt.) systems.

(6) Good understanding of quotation and contract's terms and conditions; and negotiation skill is essential.

Weybridge, Surrey (on-site car park, free shuttle from/to Weybridge Railway Station)

Hours of work: 37.5 hour per week

(4)

Annual basic salary: 50~65K (depending on experience)
