Currently recruiting a Property Administrator for a permanent role- Based in Edinburgh for a Property Management Business
About Our Client:
Property Management Business
- Processing rental payments and payments to landlords
- Processing client and business expenses
- Lodging tenant deposits with SDS
- Ensuring Xero is kept up to date and records are accurate
- Reconciling client and business account
- Communicating extensively with utility companies and Edinburgh City Council.
- Processing utilities and passing for payment
- Processing compliance certificate and communicating with Compliance Manager.
- Utilising extensive internally and externally designed IT and administrative systems and procedures.
- Communicating extensively with the Property Management team.
- Providing accurate and helpful information to other members of staff in timely manner.
- Being familiar with legal and legislative information relating to residential letting.
- Understanding, promoting and using the companies agreed letting policies and procedures
The Successful Applicant:
Skills and Knowledge
Very strong organisational, administrative, IT, interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail are essential. A consistent and progressive career background is also essential.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have initiative, can think quickly and decisively and they must have a genuine commitment to customer care.
Qualifications
A relevant qualification in the housing/property/finance sector is desirable but not essential.
Experience
Customer service experience is essential. Experience in the housing/property/finance sector is desirable but not essential.
Experience in SME professional Lettings and Property Management Software is desirable but not essential.
What's on Offer:
Applicants should be able to commute easily to the West End of Edinburgh.
Job Types:
Full-time 37.5 hours p/w, Permanent
Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year +5% pensions
