If you are offered the permanent role, this this job is available either in a Teaching and Scholarship role or in a Teaching and Research role, depending on your background and expertise.

Main duties

  • Undergraduate and postgraduate module leadership and teaching.
  • Liaising with module leaders where necessary to ensure module content remains relevant to, and compatible with, programme curricula.
  • Supporting the department with student engagement through the attendance of student open days, events, workshops, and dissemination initiatives.
  • Setting of coursework and examination assessments.
  • Preparation for the undergraduate and/or postgraduate examination boards.
  • Enthusing and engaging students at all levels and in a variety of contexts.
  • Undertaking any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Head of Department.
  • Being aware of and aligned with Goldsmiths regulations, strategy, and objectives to work together to proactively advance equality and diversity.
  • Helping to maintain a safe working environment by participating in training as necessary and by following the Goldsmiths Health and Safety Codes of Practice and Policy.
