Information Security Manager (Data Assurance & Protection)

Largely remote (ideally 1 day a month in office) - Cardiff

Up to £75,000 annual salary + a competitive benefits package

Here is why you may be interested:

  • You will have the opportunity to take the reins of the data governance and data protection sector of this business
  • You will be coordinating and delivering the Control Capability configuration as per business requirements
  • You will be ensuring proper governance is applied to all aspects of data confidentiality assurance controls, including signoff from all stakeholders
  • You will proactively work with the Security Operations Centre and outsource providers for service/incident response and consequence management
  • You will collaborate on transformation projects to ensure data confidentially is addressed throughout the project life cycle

What you ideally have:


  • Strong knowledge of Info Security and IT security management or analysis experience
  • Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention controls
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of data assurance and governance, including data quality management, metadata management and tools, information security, data architecture and technology
  • Solid experience and track record of delivering tangible business value through data confidentiality assurance and governance solutions
  • Experience of leading cultural change in the way data is used and governed in businesses
  • Detailed understanding of Data Loss Prevention
