Overview

Eden Brown Synergy is working in partnership with North Lincolnshire Council, which is seeking to recruit a Head of Adult Social Care Localities on an interim basis.

The purpose of this role is to have responsibility for Community First and be accountable for the operational delivery of the strategic direction, leadership and management to the teams within that portfolio.

This role is paying £43.14 per hour umbrella for 2 months initially

Your role:

You will be accountable for three Locality Case Work Teams delivering Community First, a multi - disciplinary group including Home First Community within North Lincolnshire, in developing innovative and creative solutions to deliver the ambitions of the Council Plan.

You will ensure effective systems of assurance and governance are in place across the service area. Additionally, you will act as the accountable operational lead for adult safeguarding within your functional areas of responsibility.

Person Specification.

Professional qualification in social work or a related field (e.g., Health) registration with appropriate professional body and evidence of ongoing continued professional development.
Experience and proven track record in working collaboratively to organise people and resources towards the effective and efficient achievement of council ambitions and outcomes
A good understanding of the current challenges facing local government generally and adult social care
Advanced knowledge and understanding of relevant statutory framework including The Mental Health Act, The Mental Capacity Act and The Care Act 201
Significant experience of managing complex and advanced case work such as Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
