Description
My client is looking for a full time Junior Developer to work from their head office in Leeds.

They are an award winning communications agency with their main office in Leeds.

Their target market spans everything from fitness and retail, to engineering software, ethical investment and animation studios.


This is an exciting role for someone motivated to use premium web technologies and browser functionality to create websites that amaze clients.


  • Personal trainer

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Senior Developer to develop and maintain unique creative projects
  • Write clean, welldocumented code
  • Maintain existing client and internal websites
  • Daily contact with account managers and the design team

Knowledge of:


  • WordPress (1 year)
  • Custom theme development
  • Custom plugin and functionality development
  • Knowledge of CSS and HTML
  • Knowledge of PHP
  • JavaScript knowledge
  • Skills with mobile techniques
  • Ability to debug site issues using inspector tools

DESIRABLES

  • Experience working with APIs and integrations
  • Knowledge of SEO & Accessibility Standards
  • Experience using git and git deploy methods
Please note you are required to work from the Leeds office three days a week.
