The Client

I am currently partnering with one of the fastest growing consultancies in the North The client deals with a wide variety of accounting activities such as Audit, Tax, Management Accounts, Wealth Management etc.

They have a substantial portfolio of clients from large listed companies, SMEs and entrepreneurs which they tailer their services too across multiple verticals.

The Role
This role would be a great chance for a talented and ambitious Management Accountant to step up into a more client facing commercial role where essentially you will be like a Financial Controller to multiple organisations

Two days will never be the same in this role but an overview of the task are as follows, but not limited to;

Weekly presentations to a range of clients showcasing them their Management Accounts discuss results and suggest improvements
Signing off the final draft of management accounts for clients which have been produced by more junior members of the team
Putting together presentations and projections on a consultative basis and presenting these back to the clients
Completion of management accounts for some key clients that are of a high priority
Completes all admin and other ad hoc duties in relation to the preparation of accounts where necessary some elements will require you to role your sleeves up and get stuck in
Takes ownership for own development support junior members of the team with their development and studies

What the client needs from you

Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA with robust experience in a management accounts role would consider finalist or QBE DOE
Previous experience in a similar management accounting position within a practice or industry environment.
Technically strong with a passion for knowledge
Confident in dealing with clients at all levels, great communicating skills with clients over the phone or face to face
Innovative and forward thinking
Competent using Xero, Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of apps such as Receiptbank and Spotlight is advantageous
