The Role

Key Responsibilities include:


  • Provide a high quality cleaning service that includes tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning the kitchen area and polishing surfaces.
  • Using cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals, e.g. the vacuum cleaner and mop
  • Cleaning and maintaining the communal facilities, e.g. toilets, kitchen areas and corridors
  • Some maintenance of the car park and grounds
  • Completing cleaning schedule paperwork
  • Other duties as requested by the Facilities Team Leader
  • Can work alone without supervision
  • Is reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
  • Has previous cleaning experience
  • Able to follow clear directions
  • Good organisational skills to ensure all duties are complete within the required timeframe
  • Grounds maintenance experience is desirable by not essential
  • Ensure that policies relating to health, safety, hygiene and housekeeping are observed
  • Good levels of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Clean DBS / criminal background check
