Apprenticeship qualification:


Supply Chain Practitioner Level 3

Apprenticeship programme duration: 18 months

Brief:

Fantastic opportunity to join a global employer as Apprentice Demand Planner.

Reporting into the Food Stock Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring food stock is at the required levels at all times.


Key Deliverables in role:


  • Efficiently deliver the purchasing of Food stock using all the tools available.
  • Ensure that all products which are part of a menu change are forecasted correctly, making sure that the system is fully operational before Purchase Orders are placed
  • Advise the Food Purchasing Manager of potential issues and resolutions to these as required
  • Ensure all suppliers are reviewed on the planned timescales and orders are placed in compliance with lead times & MOQ's, and meet the demand of the customer and business
  • Work in conjunction with the Buyers and Analysts
  • Deliver excellent customer service to the client and put the client at the heart of all communications 100% of the time
  • Work with the analyst team to ensure the right food stock is being delivered at the right time in line with the constraints of the depots
  • Ensure any product issue which is quality or recall is clearly communicated and understood if the Food Purchasing Manager is unavailable
  • Report within the required timescales agreed information for the Team Leader or Manager and ensuring the supplied information is correct
  • Ensure that daily system hygiene is maintained, purchase orders are reviewed & closed and filed accordingly
  • Ensure all stock issues identified during the picking process are resolved and where necessary orders placed to recover availability
  • Ensure that all new lines / delisted are ordered in line with known parameters and in place / finished on the required customer timings
  • Ensure that the Food stockholding policies applied for the customer contract are complied with in relation to stock days holding and where feasible this level is driven down
  • Any other duties that may be required to support the operation and meet the customer expectations

Hourly wage:
£19,000 per annum


Hours & Days of work:
Monday - Friday hours


Holidays: 25 per year
