Alpadia Language Schools provides English, French and German summer courses for juniors across Europe.

Alpadia also offers all-year round adult schools in Montreux, Berlin, Freiburg and Lyon, teaching French and German.


Initially established in 1996, and now larger than ever,

Job Description:


  • Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all students in our care.
  • Ensure the academic administration of the camp is well organised to ensure the smooth running of the camp and follows all Alpadia procedures and policies, working alongside the camp management team.
  • Assist the Academic Manager with lesson/CPD planning, materials preparation and classroom organisation.
  • Provide support to Teachers, including arranging resources and materials, photocopying and monitoring attendance and behaviour.
  • Administer student placement tests and assign students to their groups.
  • Represent ALPADIA at all times in the best possible way, being polite and friendly to the students, both inside and outside of the classroom.
  • Administer procedures/templates related to academic provision, including level changes record, timetables, staff substitution records, are completed promptly.
  • Liaise with internal (Customer Services team and Sales) and external stakeholders concerning student matters; responding to and resolving any questions, comments or concerns.
  • Ensure the academic department is fully stocked with resources by stock counting and liaising with the Academic Manager to order in more stock from suppliers.
  • Ensure Class Files, including registers, lesson materials, the syllabus and schemes of work, are kept up to date.
  • Administer endofcourse report certificates for all our students, including some tailored remarks communicated to the Camp Manager.
  • Manage camp facilities, equipment, IT equipment and supplies as necessary.
  • Take part and input in a daily Teacher's Meeting, minuting important points raised and discussed as appropriate.
  • Liaise with the Camp Management Team to resolve any instances of issues/questions/concerns raised by students, agents, parents or other stakeholders.
  • Maintain at all times proper levels of student discipline, safety and welfare, highlighting any issues to the Camp Manager.
  • Additional administrative tasks and activities as given by the management team such as marketing uploads, completing daily reports, etc
