_ The Welwyn & Hatfield office_ are now looking to recruit people who live in
Welwyn, Hatfield, Potter's Bar and Borehamwood areas, and who are looking to ultimately make a career working within the Adult Care Sector - this is your chance to join the fastest growing service industry in the UK.


_ You must have the Right to Work in the UK and this will be established later during any recruitment process. We are currently NOT licenced to sponsor people and are unable to use people currently sponsored by other companies._


We are now seeking care professionals and support workers who have a strong desire to work with our elderly clients in their own homes.

Providing our clients with assistance to live safely, independently, and happily, and to enable them to live at home for as long as possible.


Common sense, reliability and compassion are the primary qualities we are seeking, and if you have these in abundance, we will offer you extensive award winning training to ensure you become the best of the best.


_ We will consider any availability times as long as they are regular and consistent and you must be able to work the agreed hours on a Saturday & Sunday, on alternate weekends. Your own car is essential._

_ The care we provides include:_

  • Companionship services, befriending and listening skills are essential.
  • Home Help services, light housework, meal preparation, shopping.
  • Personal Care services, including washing and dressing.

_ Primary Responsibilities include:
_


  • Reflecting the core values of Home Instead.
  • Contributing to clients positive living environment.
  • Documenting and reporting any changes in a clients needs.
  • Maintaining regular contact with line managers and office staff.

_ Benefits will include:
_


  • Basic hourly rates depending on time worked are £12.00, £12.50, £13.00 per hour.
  • Double time for hours worked on a bank holiday £24.00 per hour.
  • All time spent training is paid at £12.00 per hour.
  • Rates uplifted if academically qualified.
- £0.30p per mile travel, when escorting client rises to £0.45 per mile.

  • Pension and holidays are paid.
  • Visits of hour minimum.

Qualifications


You will be required to provide Two Professional References from current and previous employers, undergo an Advanced Adult DBS check and have a full British driving licence, with the Right to Work in the UK.


Additional Information

We are also interested in Live-In care professionals and as a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.

In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support and high rates of pay.
