HAYWARD HAWK is happy to be working with a successful global professional services organisation to help with their search for a Management Accounts Associate to join their growing Belfast team (Hybrid).

The Role
This is an opportunity to join the management accounting team And your
key responsibilities will include;

Processing of invoices

- including sales and purchases.

Setting up new vendors on finance systems
Preparing payment runs
Preparing quarter end VAT reports.
Creating month end workbooks.
Updating variance analysis information
Preparing information to support client queries
Maintaining client and internal folders and file structures
Develop, build and maintain relationships with clients

The person

Ideally you will be qualified or part qualified Accounts Technicians / working towards their ACCA or CIMA qualification.
Be able to build rapport and relationships with individuals at all levels irrespective of background
Be able to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written forms
Be capable of performing under pressure
Enjoy working as part of a team and achieving shared goals and objectives
Be inquisitive and analytical

Ideally you will have experience in

Finance function and accounting operations
Management reporting (including variance analysis)
Cost and Margin analysis
Preparation of tax compliance returns for VAT
Knowledge of finance function processes (RTR, PTP, OTC)
Understanding of continuous improvement and / or cost saving initiatives
