Job Title
Wealth Management International (WMI) Consumer Duty Lead


What is the opportunity?


You will be responsible for building on the current FLOD framework to comply with the requirements of Consumer Duty, including risk reporting and more generally, supporting risk management within the Supervision & Oversight team.

You will need strong communication skills to assist in liaising and collaborating with business heads and the 2LOD functions to ensure risks are monitored, managed, reported and mitigated.

What will you do?

  • Build upon the current FLOD programme to embed and ensure ongoing compliance with Consumer Duty requirements
  • Compile key Consumer Duty metrics and creating Management Information for quarterly reporting into the business
  • Identify, assess, monitor and manage RBC WMI's performance against Consumer Duty outcomes
  • Provide ongoing guidance to business stakeholders and functional leads on how to enhance business practices to ensure RBC WMI delivers good outcomes for its clients
  • Where required, deliver training to the business on i) RBC WMI's Consumer Duty obligations and ii) any 'Lessons Learned' following quarterly analysis of key Consumer Duty metrics

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and report writing
  • Information Gathering ; locating and collecting data from appropriate sources and analysing and synthesizing information to understand issues, identify options, support decision making, and to prepare meaningful reports
  • Ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources, specify exception reporting and analyse data to draw conclusions
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, necessary to build effective relationships by understanding key partner needs and demonstrating integrity and professionalism

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in building FLOD framework to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Understanding of the various risks and risk mitigation techniques applicable to the financial services industry in general, and to Private Banking administration in particular, including fiduciary, reputational, operational, regulatory, technology, credit, market and people risks
