What You'll Do
As a Collaboration Public Sector Sales Leader, you'll inspire and develop a team of Cisco Field Sales Collaboration Experts. The best of the best in the industry. You get to make them even better.


You will:

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships at the executive / business decision maker level.
  • Relentlessly drive near and longterm Collaboration recurring revenue and build a future pipeline working both on tactical and strategic levels through daily coaching of your team.
  • Work with executive leadership to develop go to market strategies based on ground level intelligence.
  • Not only will you be a people leader, but you also will own and drive part of the daily sales business responsibilities, covering direct customers and partners, in the region.
  • Help your team develop & present compelling business cases to customers, maintain expertlevel knowledge of all elements of the business case, including the drivers of cost, benefit and risk.
  • Partner closely with your leadership peers in engineering to help the team align the technology architecture to the customer's desired business outcome and ensure customer success by orchestrating resources to assist the customer in realizing the full value of their technology investment.
  • Help your team develop & lead business valuebased opportunities within targeted accounts.
  • Lead and orchestrate your Cisco team and Partner resources to identify & qualify opportunities, close engagements to achieve product and services bookings targets.
  • Improve Cisco's solution portfolio over time, focused around key customer requirements and aligned with Cisco products and solutions.
  • Share detailed execution plans and progress with field leadership.
  • Provide regular reporting of your team's engagement progress on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Engage, advise and mentor sales teams on Customer Experience imperatives and business value based consultative selling approaches

Who You Are:


  • You are a handson sales leader who understands how meaningful collaboration technology is and can convert your expertise into business acuity that your customers executives can easily absorb and repeat.
  • Your executive presence is evident within minutes of meeting you.
  • You embrace change as opportunity as opposed to a hinderance.
  • You have multiple years of experience leading geographically disperse, successful teams in selling software as a service.
  • You have at least 3 years field sales experience and a proven track record.
  • You are a steadfast competitor that is highly respected by your foes.
  • Your ethical standards are unmatched, and your references are as passionate about you as a human being as they are about your capabilities to lead.
