***Job description
Epping Forest District Council are seeking three individuals who have experience in housing management and are willing to work hard and collaboratively with two new teams within Housing.
We would like individuals who are ambitious, highly determined, and motivated, works well in a team and individual setting, can prioritise, multitask, and work to deadlines effectively, to apply.
- You will be part of a wellestablished Epping Forest district Council working in both urban and rural areas in Essex.
- The role of a Tenancy & Estate Officer encompasses both tenancy sustainment/enforcement along with estate and land functions.
Your daily tasks will include dealing with tenancy matters, tenancy audits, estate inspections, assisting in fire risk assessments, safeguarding matters, assisting in resident involvement, estate enhancements with a patch of approximately properties.
The remainder of the week, you will be expected to manage your time according to your duties.
You will also be expected to work with our residents, whilst creating positive relationships with our residents, stakeholders, and partners.
- You will work alongside the existing Tenancy & Estate Officers, supported by a Senior Tenancy & Estates Officer and the Team manager whose goals are to support our residents and deliver ambitious, innovative, and forwardthinking approaches.
- We are looking for individuals with a passion for continuous improvement, who can work on their own initiative, with:
- A commitment to providing excellent public services to the local community
- Experience of working within an organisation of comparable scale and complexity, preferably within a housing setting
- The ability to establish positive relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- The ability to adopt a creative and innovative approach to the role, driving forward new ideas and initiatives
