Reed Education are looking for 2 SEN Teaching Assistants with distinct passion, enthusiasm, and knowledge of working with individuals with special educational needs predominately behavioural management.


I am currently working with a Primary School in Northfield who are currently seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their schools as soon as possible with the possibility of an extended contract up to the end of the academic year.

You will be working closely with a year 6 pupil who has special educational needs and to improve their behaviour management.

As part of your responsibilities, you will provide interventions, this will include 1:1 tuition to further develop on the students'strengths, weaknesses, prepare them for their SAT's.

**Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

**Contract: Long Term Temporary Contract

**Location: Birmingham, Northfield

**Start Date: ASAP

Requirements:

You will need to be an someone who has a distinct knowledge of Special Education Needs since the role predominantly supports pupils with Speech, Language and Communication needs, but also work with children with dyslexia, autism, ADHD, physicaldifficulties, sensory impairments, or social and emotional development.

You will also need to be confident, compassionate, patient and have a positive and enthusiastic approach towards working with children.

You will be someone who can use their own initiativeand deal with challenging situations in a calming and effective manner.
