Delivery Manager
Our client, a well-established name within telecommunications is looking for a Delivery Manager to join their team on a contract basis (Inside IR35) in Reading.
As the Delivery Manager, you will primarily provide services relating to either Acquisition, Design or Construction of LTE & 5G RAN solutions but may also be involved with in-building, infrastructure, and antenna line solutions.
You will help implement and coordinate delivery requirements, NTQ (Notice To Quit) activities, and support topics relating to Network Rollout with the overall goal of achieving build completion for the customer.
The Delivery Manager will also be responsible for:
- Overall accountability of project deliverables from start to finish, ensuring all tasks are completed as per SLA's and forecasts.
- Organizing and coordinating the rollout of sites in line with the contractual requirements.
- Managing third parties to deliver sites, ensuring that all implementation works are undertaken to budget and within SLA.
- Acting on relevant metrics by investigating and implementing corrective actions, participate in Customer Delivery meetings and issue associated reports.
- Actively handle issues or dependencies that may impact a sites deployment alongside ensuring sites align with all Health & Safety, CDM, ICNIRP and any other legislative requirements applicable to on site work.
- Updating Customer and Internal tools (including planning information) and collaborating with the Customer via attendance of relevant meetings when required.
- Reviewing all designs issued via the effective management of 3rd party Design suppliers.
We would welcome applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in managing project delivery with respect to multiple service and product supplier management preferably within mobile telecommunication cell site deployment.
- Excellent planning and management skills, able to report delivery of multiple milestones within strictly defined timescales.
- Experience in handling third party suppliers in the delivery of DICIrollout services.
- Strong Commercial awareness and experience of delivering to budgets alongside managing other KPI's.
- Good working knowledge and understanding of site design guidelines and specifications
- Prepared to travel to customer offices and hybrid ways of work.
