Overall Purpose:

Manufacture and pack quality food products that are safe and legal in accordance with batch sheets, manufacturing practice and food safety regulations.


Key Accountabilities and Tasks

  • Compound flavours, colours and other issued batch sheets
  • Pack flavours, colours and other products per issued batch sheets
  • Complete documentation clearly and accurately
  • Clean sesels and equipment
  • Maintain clean and safe production area and warehouse
  • Ensure equipment is used safely in accordance with instructions
  • Assist with stocktakes as and when required
  • Bring any or incidents to the attention of MSO's or Manager

Communications

  • Primarily with MSO's
  • Some liaison with internal colleagues as required and instructed
  • Clear and articulate verbal and written communication

Key Skills & Experience

  • Numerate and literate with good communication skills
  • Clean and organized in own work area
  • FLT Driver
  • Able to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure
  • Manual handling (using lifting equipment where appropriate)
