Description
Global Accounting Network are currently recruiting for a privately owned business in the property/real estate investment space.
Due to growth, they are looking to hire a Financial Accountant into a newly created role. You will sit within a larger team of 10 within finance, looking after all financial statutory accounting alongside taxation.

Skills/experience required:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Experience in a practice environment with both audit and accounts preparation
  • Experience in financial statutory accounts
  • Property industry experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

Main responsibilities:

  • Preparation of yearend financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Accurate delivery of statutory reporting
  • Preparation of VAT, personal and corporate tax returns
  • Development, maintenance and implementation of processes and controls
  • Compliance with regulation and all legal requirements, including tax
