LSA in a lovely local Primary School - Immediate start - Winslow, Buckinghamshire - 1:1 or small groups support - £80 to £95 per day

About the School - Learning Support Assistant


The smaller village school based on the outskirts of Winslow is looking for multiple Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant roles to further improve the offering to their pupils.

The school have the pupils at the heart of everything they do. Thisambitious school have created a caring and resilient culture for both students and staff. There is a higher than normal percentage of SEN pupils, which they cater for superbly. There is specific classes for these pupils to thrive and plenty of support forthem across the school. This role would be supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis.

Some of the SEN children have mild additional needs, with others needs specifically trained personal to support them whilst at school.

Role requirements - Learning Support Assistant

  • Learning Support Assistant experience in either a mainstream or SEN setting.
  • Awareness of some of the following: Autism awareness, Makaton, PECS
  • The willingness to take training in safeguarding, medication administration and first aid
  • A desire to work under challenging but highly rewarding circumstances
