We are currently working with a Cornwall based client looking to recruit a Finance Manager into the team.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing company offering the possibility to progress within the finance area of the business.
The role will be reporting into the board of directors and managing a small team across operations and finance.Responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day to day financial and accounting operations of the business.
- Overseeing accounting procedures and managing a small finance team.
- Preparing timely monthly management accounts including detailed commentary.
- Liaising with external accountants, suppliers, customers, funders and HMRC.
- Coordinate and manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts to aid management with strategic planning.
- Preparation and submission of monthly payroll and pension.
- Preparation of Year End to pass onto the external accountants to prepare the statutory accounts.
- Proficient in bookkeeping, cashflow, forecasting and budgeting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills & technical knowledge of IT systems and software including cloudbased accounting software.
- Payroll knowledge (desirable but not essential).
