We are currently working with a Cornwall based client looking to recruit a Finance Manager into the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing company offering the possibility to progress within the finance area of the business.

The role will be reporting into the board of directors and managing a small team across operations and finance.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing the day to day financial and accounting operations of the business.
Overseeing accounting procedures and managing a small finance team.
Preparing timely monthly management accounts including detailed commentary.
Liaising with external accountants, suppliers, customers, funders and HMRC.
Coordinate and manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts to aid management with strategic planning.
Preparation and submission of monthly payroll and pension.
Preparation of Year End to pass onto the external accountants to prepare the statutory accounts.
Proficient in bookkeeping, cashflow, forecasting and budgeting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills & technical knowledge of IT systems and software including cloudbased accounting software.
Payroll knowledge (desirable but not essential).
