We are currently working with a Cornwall based client looking to recruit a Finance Manager into the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing company offering the possibility to progress within the finance area of the business.

The role will be reporting into the board of directors and managing a small team across operations and finance.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day to day financial and accounting operations of the business.
  • Overseeing accounting procedures and managing a small finance team.
  • Preparing timely monthly management accounts including detailed commentary.
  • Liaising with external accountants, suppliers, customers, funders and HMRC.
  • Coordinate and manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts to aid management with strategic planning.
  • Preparation and submission of monthly payroll and pension.
  • Preparation of Year End to pass onto the external accountants to prepare the statutory accounts.
  • Proficient in bookkeeping, cashflow, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills & technical knowledge of IT systems and software including cloudbased accounting software.
  • Payroll knowledge (desirable but not essential).
