About the job you are considering:

The Strategic Deal Maker takes overall end-to-end responsibility for developing, leading and closing large complex transformational UK and international opportunities, spanning the full breadth of Capgemini's business covering public and private sectors across all industries.
**As part of the UK Cloud Infrastructure Strategic Deals team, these opportunities will typically be Transformation-led long-term deals with a significant element of core technology services within the CIS portfolio (Cloud Transformation, Digital Workplace, Service Integration & Management, Cybersecurity) as well as elements from the broader Capgemini portfolio, notably Application Transformation & Services, Data & Analytics, Business & Technology Consulting, Business Services & Operations, Engineering Services, and Operational Technology.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.



Your role:

Develop and lead strategic deals covering the range of Capgemini's portfolio, industries and clients:


  • Expectation is to develop early stage leads as well as manage the closure of opportunities:

Build CxO level relationships with clients, partners, and advisors in the market:


  • Understand client's business requirements and develop propositions to support those goals:

Working and developing business and relationships across all parts of Capgemini to develop opportunities and bring the very best of the Group to clients in order to win deals:


  • Develop value-based sales propositions, competitive strategies, and clear pricing / financial strategies:

Working with clients to build influential relationships to shape and close opportunities:

  • **Closing significant business with the desired level of profitability

Your skills and experience:


Key responsibilities:

Demonstrable experience of selling large-scale transformational deals with a strong personal win rate:


  • A strong understanding of the markets in which Capgemini operates:
-
Taking end-to-end ownership of deals through to closure/signature:


  • Experience of managing large deals and teams with cross-discipline skillsets:
-
Knowledge and experience of handling RFPs, ITTs and advisor-led processes:


  • Good grasp of the changing market, especially Cloud transformation and asset-light solutions:

Proven ability to work with executive level internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment around opportunities

Your security clearance:


To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard
checks.

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.

There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
