Description

To plan, prepare and deliver a range of high-quality lessons and activities designed to support learners into employment, education, and training.

To undertake full ownership of all relevant tasks which are required to facilitate excellent guided learning. To act in a way that promotes equality, fairness and has reference to safeguarding and the Prevent agenda.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative, inspiring tutor to provide adult learners with an outstanding learning experience. This post is open to both experienced tutors and those aspiring to become a tutor.


Some Key tasks & responsibilities:

Taking on full ownership for preparing and delivering guided learning:

  • Produce appropriate schemes of work and lesson plans
  • Provide precourse information and initial assessment including specification of course entry criteria; student induction; assessment procedure
  • Promote the effective use of individual learning plans
  • Schedule and provide tutorials and other supervised learning as appropriate
  • Deliver engaging, effective, and innovative training sessions to groups of students
  • Challenge thinking, foster debate and develop the ability of students to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking
  • Deliver online, remote lessons to individuals and groups of learners
  • Incorporate safeguarding and inclusivity throughout all courses
  • Support learners into their next steps, e.g., training, education, and employment
  • Establish working relationships with external agencies, e.g., training providers, colleges, DWP and employers

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£21,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
