Pure are pleased to be working in partnership with our client, who are based in Norwich, to appoint a Financial Accountant.

This opportunity will lead a team of two and report to the Group Financial Controller.

As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for delivering timely statutory reporting for the Group, using technical knowledge and experience for accurate reporting bothinternally and externally.

We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills you will have exposure to and liaise with key stakeholders across the SLT and Executive Management Team within this multi million pound business.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Preparation of yearly statutory accounts for all Group companies.
  • Preparation and completion of corporation tax.
  • Quarterly VAT returns.
  • Preparation and completion of necessary tax planning.
  • Completion and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Coordination and management of yearend audit.
  • Ensuring statutory compliance with recording and disclosure.
  • Calculate statutory returns
  • Overseeing completion of bank reconciliations.
  • Accounting and forecasting for group finance accounting.
  • Preparation and reporting of cashflow forecasts.
  • Perform other duties and tasks, as required.

For this role you will need:

  • The appetite for a challenging but rewarding commercial role ideally from practice
  • To be qualified (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
  • The ability to lead and inspire others
  • An attitude of challenging the norm and delivering improvements across the division
  • The ability to influence at a senior level
