Payroll Assistant

Location - Sandwich, Kent

Salary - £20,500 to £23,000

Temporary to Permanent
Are you experienced in using SAGE Accounting software?

We have an exciting opportunity in Sandwich for a Payroll Assistant to work for one of our clients. This role is a full-time position working Monday

Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.

Responsibilities

Working to support the payroll team to input timesheets for the operatives
Processing timesheets for circa 300 operatives, ensuring payroll meets deadlines
Chase any missing timesheets, annual leave forms, and sickness forms
Work closely with colleagues and managers to ensure queries with timesheets are resolved
Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
Using accounting SAGE software
Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

You must have experience in using SAGE
Confident and proficient in using Microsoft
Must be a strong communicator.
Accuracy and a good eye for detail
