Grimsby £50,000 + Bonus**Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a multisite PE backed, fastpaced logistics and distribution business based in Grimsby, who are looking to recruit an experienced and ambitious sales/business development professional.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

Representing the business as the first point of contact for all new business opportunities, queries and quotation follow up calls
Attending business related events to develop relationships with industry partners and keep up to date with new trends
Creating successful sales strategies to identify new business opportunities including new clients, products, services etc
Visiting and communicating with new and existing clients to establish and develop strong working relationships understand their needs and serving proposals to suit
Providing guidance to colleagues throughout the business, supporting team spirit and innovation in order to ensure the continuity of customer focus
Building effective with key stakeholders throughout the business
Supporting and advising the senior leadership team in how best to respond to new opportunities and tenders

Required Skills & Experience:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build strong and effective working relationships
Proven track record in meeting targets working within a sales/business development role
A dedicated approach towards understanding the company products and services
Wellorganised with the experience of planning and managing own workload
