Page Personnel are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing and profitable company based in South Leeds.


Client Details


The company is a growing business established in 2002, who has recently expanded into 5 companies within the Group since then, and are still in growth.

The company has now reached the point where a full-time accounts assistant is needed to join the smallfinance team to keep pace with processing requirements and production of financial information.


Description

  • Manage purchase ledger activities, including checking and posting invoices, reconciling accounts, dealing with invoice queries, liaising with suppliers and preparing payment runs.
  • Staff expenses, acting as finance filter for staff expenses submitted and posting into finance system.
  • Posting customer receipts, nominal bank payments and receipts.
  • Providing transnational cover for team when away from office.
  • Any other adhoc tasks as requested.

Profile

Essential:


  • High level of attention to detail and desire to get things right
- first time.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience of working in a fastpaced
- finance department, ideally with multiple companies.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Interest and ability to fully engage in improvement of current
- systems

  • Enjoys working as part of a team

Desirable:


  • Confident working with MS Excel & Word
  • Previous experience of Sage Line 50
