Description

Working across Specialised Cancer, Medicine and Rehabilitation, the post holders
(2 posts available) will take a lead in improving the quality and completeness of data and information to ensure local and national reporting is as accurate as possible.

The post holder will have a full understanding and provide local expertise to the care group on the National 18-week Referral to Treatment (RTT) and Cancer Waiting Times (CWT) targets.

The post holder will also be responsible for training staff on 18-weeks and CWT validation so that activity is accurately recorded, and errors are minimised therefore enabling admin teams to validate their own error reports.

This will be achieved through:
- identifying and documenting key data quality errors affecting each speciality within the care group
- ensuring that any data entry errors are rectified and/or escalated for management action as appropriate
- providing intense support to areas where errors occur and resolving data quality issues
- contributing to the development of local training documentation i.e. induction packs
