Job title:

Hours:
Full Time, 35 hrs per week, 9.00 hrs hrs


Salary:
£19, 110 per annum


Reporting to:
Director


Staffing responsibilities:
None


Location:
Belfast Office Base plus travel to sites as required.


Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented, positive and professional individual, who can manage tight deadlines to join our team. The Accounts Clerk is responsible organising payments and issuing invoices; posting receipt payments; allocating nominal codes; and credit control.


Core Responsibilities/Main Activities:


  • Create invoices and sending to customers
  • Preparing month end supplier sheets
  • Schedule Supplier for payments
  • Allocating bank payments
  • Manage supplier's list
  • Ensure effective transfer of files and records
  • Transfer and dispose records according to retention schedules and policies
  • Liaise with other agencies, organisations and groups
  • Variations in these responsibilities may occur over time and this job description may be altered accordingly in accordance with Diversity NI's flexibility policy._

PERSON SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL:_


Qualifications:5 x GCSE (Minimum Grades A-C English and
Maths) or equivalent or recognised admin related qualification


Experience:


  • Good knowledge and evidence of working with basic accounting procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Evidence of experience of using SAGE.
  • Evidence of successfully working in an office environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
