Job description

  • To take a high volume of incoming calls and queries from our existing and new business customers
  • To make outbound calls (warm leads) to potential new customers
  • To make proactive calls to keep in touch with existing customers
  • Maintenance of inhouse CRM system
  • Liaise with production and warehouse
  • To quote customers on products efficiently and promptly
  • Maintain excellent service levels

Duties and responsibilities for the Customer Service Advisor role:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • To be comfortable with making phone calls
  • No prior sales experience is necessary, however, it would be beneficial
  • Selfmotivated with the ambition to grow within the business
  • Competent with IT systems and Microsoft Office packages including Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • Excellent telephone manner and verbal/written communication
  • Good initiative
  • Punctual
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • The ability to work well within a team

Working hours for the Customer Service Advisor:
Monday to Friday 35 hours per week with half an hour for lunch
