My client is seeking an experienced, logical and ambitious Helpdesk Support Technician in the Southampton area, to join an expanding team.
Salary 20K-25K DOE.This is a fantastic opportunity for progression and career development - to join a very enthusiastic team who pride themselves on excellent customer service and IT support to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to tickets and answering calls.
- Provide remote support in order to resolve problems.
- Liaise with the wider IT team; managing and escalating tickets.
- Onsite tech support, on client sites.
- Meeting SLAs and adhering KPIs.
- Update and contribute to documentations.
- Offboarding and Onboarding users.
- Monitoring backups and reporting on issues; daily.
Key Skills:
- Experience in IT support environment.
- MSP environment.
- Experience of supporting Windows Desktop.
- Knowledge of PC, Laptop and Printer hardware.
- Knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Basic Knowledge Cabling and It Networking.
- Great interpersonal skills, perfect communications skills.
- Excellent problemsolving capacity/ logical.
- Full driver's Licence.
Desirables:
- VoIP support
- Office 36
- Mac OSX
- Server Admin
- Any IT certifications are a bonus e.g. CCNA etc
