DBA/Database Administrator, with strong PostgreSQL and ideally SQL Server database administration experience, is required for a leading technology company for an initial 3 month contract.

This position can be fully remote or based from the Southampton office, paying £400 - £500/day.

This position is working
inside IR35.

Working within the software engineering function of a leading technology company, the PostgreSQL Database Administrator will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of all of the company databases while managing the 3rd party provider.

The technical environment is across PostgreSQL

Python/NumPy/Pandas/C, - Django/Flask/Celery/RabbitMQ - JavaScript/React - Linux/Docker/Kubernetes and AWS & Azure.


Required Skills:

• Excellent Database Administrator background
• Strong experience of PostgreSQL database administration
• Ideally experience of Python, AWS/Azure.
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management experience

This position would suit a Database Administrator, who has strong experience in PostgreSQL database administration.

This PostgreSQL/SQL Server DBA/Database Administrator position is looking to start ASAP, will be home based or from the Southampton office, paying £400 - £500/day (depending upon background and experience) - Limited/Umbrella Company
