Meraki Talent are delighted to be appointing an Assistant Management Accountant, based in Glasgow on a Hybrid work model for a highly successful global business.

They are offering a excellent salary of up to 25k on a perm basis.

The Role

Main point of contact for the clients, providing support and dealing with queries.
Internal primary point of contact for Surveying and Management Services group; working closely with colleagues to provide clients with exceptional outcomes.
Responsible for the delivery of VAT reporting.
Preparing VAT returns to HMRC.
Preparation of Reconciliations.
Responsibility review of Trial Balance and corrective actions
Preparing reconciliation of clients' funds and ensuring cash is paid over to clients in line with agreed procedures.
Attending client and internal meetings.
Coordination and resolution of funding issues across portfolio.
Book keeping experience.
ACCA or CIMA preferred or looking to work towards qualifications.
Great understanding of VAT reporting.
A brilliant and technical understanding of trial balance.
Competent to a high level of Excel.
