Description
You will join our fantastic team here in Stirchley in a residential area. As a Support Worker, you will be supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities.
You will help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing.
Key duties and responsibilities of our Waking Nights Mental Health Support Worker include:
- Provide a range of one-to-one support to service users, as required during night shifts.
- To stay alert and awake during the whole shift, in case of any issues or requirements from service users.
- Use initiative to ensure that not only scheduled tasks are completed but service improvements are identified
- Work in a personcentred way to create opportunities for service user's personal development and growth
- Complete a range of reports and daily logs accurately and clearly
- Liaise proactively with external agencies (such as CPNs, Social Workers,
- Community Mental Health Teams etc.) and family/friends of service users
- Where required, prompt or administer medication accurately and keep all records up to date
- Report any issues to the oncall Manager immediately

£6.83-£9.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Birmingham, B27: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
