Maximus Solutions has a fantastic opportunity for an
M&E Estimator to join our client who are growing rapidly. This role offers the opportunity to join supportive and fast paced environment with a diverse range of projects.


This contractor has clear growth plan over the next few years within their 3 different divisions, with a strong pipeline of work ahead, they are looking for an ambitious
Estimator who wants to really make a difference and have strong input into their commercial function.


Responsibilities:


  • Anaylse project specifications, drawings and related documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- collaborate with projects managers, engineers and suppliers to gather relevant information and ensure accurate estimations

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs
  • Review and evaluate bids and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Assist in the development of project proposals and budgets
  • Communicate and liaise with project teams and clients

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Estimator within the M&E industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and project specifications
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:
£50,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

- surveying: 2 years (preferred)
