The role:


  • SEN Teaching Assistant in small Ashford village


  • Full-Time

  • Monday to Friday 08:30 15:30
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Daily Rate: from £75 £85 (depending on experience)


SER are currently supporting a small mainstream Primary school who is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join their hard-working, fun-loving team as they near the completion of their transition into a two-form entry primary school.


The successful applicant will be someone who loves to inspire and support the children and is a willing team player.

You should be a highly efficient, flexible and reliable person.


This is an exciting role for those interested or experienced in working with children with a variety of SEN needs.

The school provide development opportunities in a variety of Special Educational Needs.

Previous successful experience as an SEN teaching assistantin either KS1 or KS2 with experience of supporting pupils 1:1 is desirable.

This role will be working with children with physical disabilities as well as supporting academic progress and engagement in learning.


The relevant NVQ2/3 qualification would be an advantage however they can also support those that wish to progress in their own personal development in this area.


The school need someone who can work from 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday with half an hour lunch break.

As part of the contract, an additional 19 hours will be paid for INSET days and/or twilight sessions across the year (dates will be given in advance).
