Established for over 50 years, this world leader in the Electric Boiler Market is recruiting for 'Electrical Engineer - Panel Wirer'.

The business manufactures, commissions and services their own range of packaged boiler systems that are sold throughout the world.

JOB PROFILE

Seeking a multi-skilled and flexible individual with a focus on panel wiring, involved in the complete life cycle of the manufacturing process coupled with occasional site visits to carryout service works.

The team wires bespoke electrical control panels from scratch, manufactures pressure vessels, welds, paints and configures Siemens PLC controls. This is a very varied role and over time employees will become involved in all aspects of the business, with full training provided when required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Wiring various panel boards from schematic diagrams and engineering drawings

Assembling control panels including drilling, tapping, assembling trunking and din rail components
Populating panels
Coordinate and assist workshop team
Provide service reports
Attend site surveys and installations when required
Ensure workshop cleanliness
ALL aspects of Health and Safety

KEY ATTRIBUTES
Experience wiring and populating a variety of low voltage switchgear

Excellent Communication skills

Ability to manage a project comfortably and confidently on own initiate

Willingness to learn will be key
Enthusiastic, positive with a "can do" attitude
Excellent time management
Flexible and adaptable in this fastmoving environment

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years in cabinet and control panel wiring

Ability to read schematic and electrical and mechanical fabrication drawings
Working on customer sites
IT skills working knowledge of MS word, Excel & Outlook
Experience in Siemens S7 PLC's an advantage

EDUCATION - A-Level or equivalent
HOURS & BENEFITS
Full-time, Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30pm,
20 days holiday plus birthday + B/Hs (7 days used for Dec/Jan shutdown)
Plus additional day's holiday after each year's service rising to 25
