About the role Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are looking for an experienced Plumber to join our Maintenance Team here at Anfield Stadium.

You will be responsible for service and repairs, fault finding, and general maintenance to all plumbing and drainage systems to current regulations at Anfield.


What will you be doing?

  • Undertake general maintenance, fault finding, and repair works to all Plumbing and Drainage Systems on time and compliant to current regulations.
  • First response to all system and plant breakdowns carry out fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • Carry out new installations and project works as required.
  • Provide stadium Management with recommendations for life cycle replacements and system upgrades to help forecast budgets expenditure.
  • Manage Maintenance, Testing, Repairs and Chemical Dosage of Player's Spa and Ice Baths.
  • Conduct Weekly flushing of water systems throughout stand as part of legionella prevention (L8) system.
  • Be able to prioritize workload using the CAFM System to ensure all works are logged considering out of hours functions and match days.
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize workload depending on relevant fixtures and events week by week.
  • Manage and oversee external contractors ensuring their works are satisfactorily completed with minimum disruption to the business.
  • Undertake statutory and nonstatutory PPMs on site at Anfield.
  • Manage and oversea external contractors/projects ensuring works are carried out satisfactory within agreed time scales with minimum disruption to the business. Any other duties reasonably expected of the post. Undertake statutory and non statutory PPMs relating to water systems on site at Anfield.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for applicants who possess an NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating, have Water Hygiene Legionella Prevention experience, and comprehensive knowledge of Specialised Plumbing, Heating, Pool Management, Fire Sprinkler and Legionella prevention methods, techniques, and processes.

You must have experience in undertaking PPMs, and a full clean UK driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience (Not Essential)

  • IPAF Mobile Platform Operation License
  • PASMA Mobile Scaffold Erection License
  • Gold CSCS Trade Card
  • Water Regulations Qualification/ Knowledge
  • Unvented Hot Water Qualification (Commercial)
  • Gas qualification
  • Level 2 Spar Management qualification
  • Fire suppression sprinkler system knowledge
